Hello again! We do have new things that come out periodically. We just re-recorded and wrote a book for the Why I Believe series. The re-recording for Invisible War will be coming out soon. He has a new series that will be released in 2020, but the time and cost of production along with Chip’s schedule doesn’t allow for a vast assortment of topics or messages. No one is saved until theyre saved, sorry! Dont believe every well intentioned, but misguided pastor who wants to sell you a get-out-of-jail free pass into heaven. Nor should you gravitate to a few misunderstood Pauline quotes like Eph 2:8-9 No one is saved by faith alone nor exempt from the FINAL JUDGMENT As Paul says om 2 Corinthians 5:10 ESV “For we must *ALL* appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” 2) “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour”. 1 Peter 5:8 3) “Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning” Mark 13:35

While God is not in control of a person’s choices, He is in the ULTIMATE control of the wheels of history. The choice we have is as Chip says to; “lean in and walk w God”. That’s the key. When bad things happen because of our bad choices, we cannot accuse God. Nor does God put diseases on people like cancer even when they love and obey Him. But God can and does turn any and all bad to “work together for good” no matter what. That’s why we must trust Him.

This is how a PhD former presbyterian minister and doctor of theology explains God’s so-called irresistible will or Sovereinty: Whereas most Christians believe the Bible teaching which emphasizes both God’s grace and man’s cooperation, there is no room in Calvinist teaching except for a staunch denial of St. Paul’s inspired notion of man as “CO LABORER” with God (1 Cor. 3:9).
In Calvin’s words: If [by free will] is meant that after we are once subdued by the power of the Lord to the obedience of righteousness, we proceed voluntarily, and are inclined to follow the movement of grace, I have nothing to object… If, again, it is meant that man is able of himself to be a fellow-laborer with the grace of God, I HOLD IT TO BE A MOST PESTILENT DELUSION (Institutes, Bk. 2, Ch. 3, Para. 11)
“Freewill” for the Calvinist means acting in accord with irresistible grace (aka God’s irresistible Will) that he cannot do anything but accept. Is the god you want to believe in who loves us all? John 3:16
Of course, the consensus view asserts that man cannot “of himself” merit anything from God- meaning, apart from God’s empowering grace. But Calvin’s meaning is very different. For him, “Subdued by the power of the Lord” means that man cannot resist the movement of God’s grace. If God wills for you to go to heaven, he will give you grace to that end and you will be irresistibly moved to act in accord with it. If God wills for you to go to hell, then you will not be given grace and you will be moved to sin by God’s eternal decree. Such is the damning indictment and absurdity of such an unjust notion.
if God predestines every person, and not all are called, elected, or predestined for salvation, then God has predestined (the Westminster Confession says “fore-ordained”) some persons to hell or eternal damnation. Second, if God has predetermined the ultimate fate of all persons, then the individual has no power to make any important decisions. Presbyterians have learned to believe, also, in free will, realizing that these two doctrines are logically impossible to hold at the same time, but that each is true, as taught in the Westminster Confession… but that impossibility doesn’t seem to hold back those sitting on Salvation mountain waving their get out of jail free pass having assumed their is nothing that a righteous person can do like turning from his righteousness and losing salvation. Perhaps they missed the 75 texts that contradict this heresy?
Can man have freewill if Calvin’s idea of god decided your fate before the creation of the world and neither the “saved’ nor lost can change anything about their journey or the destination. His doctrine of *Total Depravity* means that all of mankind is evil and sinful to his very core so that every inclination of his heart is always evil all the time (see Genesis 6:5) *Rebuttal* But if man has been created in God’s image, and God has freewill then man must at least have moral responsibility despite his heart being inclined towards evil. Logic and common sense demands we cant be held accountable for our deeds if we cant choose good over evil. Turn on the news and that become abundantly clear. Even atheists have an innate sense of what is good and just, right and wrong. That’s why we see atheists giving time and resources to humanitarian causes (like hurricane relief.) If man was 100% evil, we wouldn’t see this. I believe we are indeed depraved, just not totally depraved.
“Sovereignty” and “will” need to be properly defined and understood. Sovereignty is “Supreme power and autonomy”. That does NOT mean that it is always exercised or used down to the minutest detail, even though it could be. Will is “something that is desired or ordained”. Calvinism is not Christianity. “Believe, Trust, Choose, If, Accept, Repent”

Brother Ingram, I have had preachers attack me because I believe in THE absolute sovereignty of GOD. They laugh that God allows tragedy in the world. They say sovereignty is not in the Bible but chance is 😢
