Everything Must Go | Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts

When something gets in the way of your relationship with God — it's gotta go.
In ”Everything Must Go,” Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts teaches us to clear away what’s holding us back from being who God created us to be. The things that keep us from God –– bitterness, anger, old mindsets, toxic relationships –– it’s time for them to go.

  • @nancysimiyu3107 says:

This was the first sermon i ever listened to. It was randomly recommended on my you tube timeline. I clicked on to it. From then on my life changed. Its been almost two years and all I can say is that with God, nothing is random. God healed me from anxiety and depression, I am a new creation. He has blessed me in ways I never thought possible! God is good, He never gave up on me. This is MY TESTIMONY! I thought I should come back to where it all started and say thank you to Pastor Serah Roberts and Elevation Church. God truly used you to save me. Thank you Jesus!

    • @ironbear8469 says:

If you truly believe in Christ Jesus. Then you must give honor to the Word of God. WOMEN ARE NOT CALLED BY GOD TO BECOME A PASTOR!

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
      1 Timothy 2:11‭-‬12 KJV

    • @nancysimiyu3107 says:

@@ironbear8469 remember how Jesus used the Samaritan WOMAN, to spread his gospel.bear in mind she was the FIRST to ever spread the gospel of Christ, ” come see this man who has told me all about my life, He is the Messiah. ”
Who was the FIRST to see the risen Christ? ‘Go and tell my disciples that I have risen’, It was a WOMAN! T he first person to spread the good news that Jesus had risen. If JESUS, trusted a woman with that news, no one can tell me otherwise!
Please DO NOT bring me your negativity or doctrines in my comment. Thanks.
P.s no need to engage me further, I have had enough.

    • @elianarispel340 says:

      Praise the lord

    • @elianarispel340 says:

God is God enough to use whomever and whatever to proclaim his Glory, so praise God for this anointed woman

    • @ironbear8469 says:

@@nancysimiyu3107 of course YES its okay for a woman to minister to others! But to be the head of the Church its NOT OKAY!
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence Timothy 2 11 12

      🙋🏾‍♀️ Still watching in 2021

    • @alittlecrinkley232 says:

I know from experience that calling “godly fire” over your life tends to result in troubles and chaos as God proceeds to rip out every evil thing in your life and bring you to repentance.
This is what’s lacking in these type of preachers sermons, no repentance in the so called church today, we’ve become ignorant and just say things because it sounds powerful and cool without really understanding what the words mean.

  • @nadiuhh98 says:

“the lower you are, the deeper your foundation can be”

  • @brandygriffin5028 says:

I listened to this sermon in the pits of my addiction and I made the decision to change my life in the middle of listening to this. God moved ans I went to treatment and sought God and held on to the promises in this message. It’s been 2 years now and I now have the life I prayed for that day. I have my child back, my own home and an amazing fiancé who is a man of God. Thank you for being the vessel and bringing forth the word and promises of God through Jesus Christ. This word changed my life !

  • @sylviagomez8888 says:

Sara Jakes Roberts, if you’re reading this comment know this is the absolute best sermon that I still listen to in July 2022 and get chills each time! The anointing that was placed on you this peculiar day was such a blessing to me. The first time that I listen to it was in 2019 and knew I was in a situation that i should have walked away but I stayed. As of May 2021 , I finally said EVERYTHING MUST GO. But sad because by this time , I had lost everything family, friendships, my home, my finances and even myself.
I would cry out , How did i get here? I knew how… deep down inside I knew. It was because I allowed someone, to control and break my spirits . I wasn’t praying and focused on my blessings anymore!! So by putting a relationship before GOD, He strip me of everything, to get my attention! And when I was sick of living a life I wasn’t used to, but settled, I cried out to HIM.
Walking away, never going back was the best thing I could do! Doors started to open for me to take care of myself like I had before that crazy relationship. Strong than before and self love along with isolation will work wonders. So…. Sara Jakes Roberts thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

  • @jeydeycorona6488 says:

This is the 4th time I listened to this sermon. It helps me when I am struggling with insecurities and issues.

  • @joysihlangu7763 says:

Everything must go. The pain, the exhaustion, the insecurities, fear, laziness, sadness, depression, lack of hope, the stress, the fear of the unknown, the of belief, the confusion, the lack of life, the fear of confrontation, the blind loyalty…all of it must GO!

  • @Esther_01 says:

This hurt and anxiety that I feel after I lost my mom 2 years ago has to go, fear has to go , pain must go in Jesus name Amen

  • @jbbutler1791 says:

When she said the part of the scripture that stated, “Surely you are one of them for your speech betrays you,” I cannot explain how much that resonated with my soul so deeply. Thank you, God. I love you, God.

  • @zimbinifrans4572 says:

Who’s still watching it in 2024?? This sermon speaks to me in so many ways . Thank You Pastor Sarah Jake’s Roberts🙏🙏🙏
